another quiet day here. my brother is up registering for classes in the fall at SPU this weekend. dad is at work now. so it is just me and the dogs. there is nothing to do here. granted longview did not have much but it does have a lot more then we do here. the biggest store is walmart and its not a super one nor is it that cheap. since there is no competition anyone can charge whatever they wanted. well. i had applied and went to an interview for a summer job. i was told they would let me know one way or another that evening. i have not heard from them at all. i dont think its worth my time. i dont understand grown-up people (employers) sometime. i can they become employers without having good public relations or not following through with their word. I guess i would have gotten frustrated with them if i actually got the job. earlier i was working on a practice test for the border patrol that i have to take next week. i am thinking about doing the alternative language test. it is a bit easier than the spanish test. they back up their own words that they give you. they also give you a list of the rules (which are the spanish rules...i noticed that today). this type of test is supposed to show if you are able to learn spanish. check out the website i think it might be a neat job to do. i know it pays well and the benefits are good. i was also thinking about how it could prepare me for a job in the FBI someday. if i do not do good on this test then i am going to go back to school at SMSU and work torward my masters in history. i think that is the plan right now. well. i am about typed out. i hope everything is going good with all you guys from LU. oh i miss all you LU people

well...not a whole lot has been going one here in cali...just between you and me it is kind of boring here...i have been looking for jobs but nothing has come up yet...i do have a interview tomorrow for a coffee joint...this job is about 30-40 minutes away and gas prices are not that great right now....so I will have to see what happens...if its a 40 hour week and even more i probably will take it...if its anything less than I probably wont take it...yesterday mom and dad bought me a new bike...the first new bike i have had since junior high....its only my third bike...i like it a lot...i also signed up for a class at the community college in criminal justice....the class is called intro to evidence...it sounds interesting and i thought it wouldnt hurt to take a class like this...lets see what else is happening...oh i still have no idea what i am gonna do after this summer....i go next weds to take a test for the border patrol...i need to brush up on my spanish or i might just to the alternative language test...i have to speak spanish fluently for the job....i wish that i actually learned something when i took spanish...

also...another one of my friends got engaged...there are a lot of them now...a special congrats goes out to that couple....and another congrats goes out to the wonderful couple that is getting married this saturday...i wish i could be there....hope the best for you too
